Policy Development
Policies are essential for protecting the athlete as well as promoting positive outcomes in sports. They play a pivotal role in fostering a safe, ethical and equitable environment for youth sports.
Overview
Policy development in youth sports involves creating rules and guidelines to ensure the ethical treatment, safety, and well-being of young athletes. To that end, as organizations evolve, they often need more rules, otherwise known as policies, to stay safe and meet legal requirements.
